About us

We welcome you with open arms to St Patrick’s Gateway Centre, a spiritual experience. Amazing music in a unique environment.

We are a community organisation which intends to cater for the educational, recreational, social, artistic, and cultural needs of Waterford city, it’ s surrounding districts, and the inner-city community in particular. This will complement the existing use of the church by the Waterford Methodist congregation. https://www.methodistchurchwaterford.com/.

Our current facilities include an event space for concerts, rehearsals, talks, events etc. and a smaller space for exhibitions, group meetings, and displays. We also have full toilet and kitchen amenities. 

Part of our mission is to help the community of inner-city Waterford and to that end we accommodate the charity Helping Hand Waterford which was set up to provide those in need with a hot meal and drink on a daily basis, https://www.facebook.com/helpinghandwaterford

In the future we intend to have larger meeting rooms, a meditation space and a small nature park on the grounds. As we are situated just inside the old city walls we wish to continue to develop the church building and graveyard as a national heritage site.
